Ingredients
  

  • 2 large tomatoes
  • 1 small red onion add as much or little as you want
  • 3 cloves garlic fresh
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • several fresh basil leaves or 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper

Instructions
 

Prepare Ingredients

  • Cut the tomatoes into wedges
  • Cut the onion in thin slices
  • Finely chop the garlic cloves and chop, or rip the fresh basil into small pieces
  • In a glass or pottery bowl or baking dish, mix together the olive oil, garlic, salt and pepper. Add the tomato, onion and basil. Gently mix until the tomatoes and onions are all coated in the dressing.
  • Let rest in refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
